Start Planning Now For Microsoft End of Support

End of support means end of security updates. 

Microsoft announced earlier this year that several of their systems will not be carried beyond January 2020. This means Microsoft will no longer support these systems and security for them will be at risk. On January 14, 2020, some of the most popular systems that will be impacted are:

  • Windows Server 2008 R2
  • Windows 7
  • SQL Server 2008
  • Exchange Server 2010
  • Office 2010

As important as the lack of security updates is the loss of support from third-party application vendors who will not provide services for systems that are at end of support.
