Important announcement for Infor EPAK customers

"On January 3, 2018, Oracle® announced its intention to discontinue development of User Productivity Kit® (UPK) ending Premier Support as of April 19, 2019. Infor Enterprise Performance Accelerator Kit (EPAK) is the Infor-branded version of Oracle UPK.

Oracle offers Sustaining Support for the life of its products, as described on its support website.

Top ERP Selection Criteria

A few years ago, hundreds of companies who recently purchased ERP systems were surveyed as part of a study. This study, performed by Deloitte & Touche, asked respondents to name the top criteria they used for their ERP selection.

What made this study different from others was that they tallied up those who were buying their first system separately from businesses buying their second- to see if experience changed purchasing criteria. And it did!

Part III: Start Your Vendor Search & Schedule Demos

Armed with your goals and some basic performance metrics on your business, you can now begin your search for an ERP vendor. A good place to start is asking your partners or suppliers for referrals. You could also hire a Selection Consultant who knows about your industry. Or, if you are a to "do-it-yourself-er," go to your preferred search engine and begin searching for ERP products by using keywords such as “manufacturing ERP software” and “manufacturing business software.”

Another place to look online is a software evaluation website such as Ideally, you should initially choose 5 to 10 vendors that you believe have an ERP software system to address your needs.
